How do you quote a recliner sofa set — per set or per piece?
Direct answer
Both — and the basis is printed on the quotation. Container orders are quoted per set: one model in a fixed configuration such as 1+2+3. Mixed or reorder quantities are quoted per piece. The default minimum is 1×40HQ, one model and two colours — a recommendation, not a hard wall.

When a per-set quotation is the right unit
A set is what a shopper sees on your floor: one recliner, one loveseat, one three-seater — same model, fabric and function level. Quoting per set keeps comparisons honest, because motor, console, cup holders and underlight sit inside one figure. Models 8363 and 8005 ship as standard 1+2+3 sets.
When a per-piece quotation is the right unit
Retailers reorder the piece that sells. If three-seaters move and loveseats sit, ask for a per-piece quote and build the container from the ratios you actually sell. It uses the same configuration as the set, so the pieces must reconcile with the set figure — if they do not, one quote is missing something.

Why is a per-piece figure sometimes higher per seat?
Cost is not linear in seat count. A single recliner carries its own motor, mechanism and carton, while a three-seater spreads frame and fabric across three seats. Functions and packing move the number, so we quote a configuration, not seats.
Do you quote landed cost?
On request. We quote EXW through DDP and coordinate door-to-warehouse delivery for key accounts. Duty and clearance depend on destination and are confirmed with your forwarder.
